Class of 2026

During NJSLA testing on April 30th in the morning, seniors will have breakfast and take a class photo for the yearbook.

Senior Prom will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM at the Grand Marquis in Old Bridge, NJ. Information has been shared through the Class of 2026 Google Classroom and paper copies of the packet are available in the 11/12 house office. Deadline to reserve your spot for Prom is Friday, May 15.

Important note: Students attending the Senior Prom cannot leave school before the end of Block 3 on June 11th. This means 12:35pm at the earliest, with a note from a parent. 

SENIOR CHROMEBOOK RETURNS:

Seniors can return their school-issued Chromebook at any time before graduation day. If you do not use your Chromebook, please return it as soon as possible to the Central Hub in the IMC to avoid the last-minute rush.

For the majority of students, the opportunity to turn in chromebooks and chargers will be the two early dismissal days before graduation - Tuesday, June 16 and Wednesday, June 17. Devices should be returned to the Central Hub in the IMC.  

Student Preparation - The Chromebook must be cleaned of all stickers and the power cord neatly wrapped and secured with velcro or a rubber band.

Missing power adapter fee - If a Chromebook is returned without the accompanying USB-C charger, you will be required to pay a $10 obligation fee. Payment should be cash (exact change) or a check payable to HCRHS.

Buy Out Price - A price of $30 per unit has been established by the Business Office for devices issued to students in the Class of 2026. The $30 payment should be presented to the Central Hub along with an inspection of the Chromebook to ensure the device is eligible. The $30 includes the price of the USB-C power adapter. Students must sign an agreement of understanding that the device is not to be used at Hunterdon Central and that no further technical support will be provided by HCRHS.  Buyers will be given instructions to reset the device to use outside of the HCRHS Domain.

Note: Sales will not be processed until the end of instruction (June 16, 17) so that devices can be removed from the HCRHS domain. Payment should be cash (exact change $30) or a check payable to HCRHS there is not a credit/debit card option. Once purchased, the device is removed from the HCRHS wireless network.

 
DATA RETENTION: 

Class of 2026 Graduate HCRHS email accounts and Google Drives will be deleted after August 1, 2026. All classwork, portfolio work, essays, college email or other communications, will be deleted and gone forever.

Some students may wish to keep their work from their Hunterdon Central account.

●     Method #1 - Transfer your HCRHS email and Google Drive to a personal Gmail account using this transfer tool.    

●     Method #2 - Create an archive of your HCRHS account following these directions to download your data.

●     If you do not wish to keep your email or documents, no action is required.

If you have questions, you can stop by the Central Hub in the IMC at any time before graduation.

Senior Awards ceremony will take place on June 3, 2026 in the auditorium. More information will be provided in May to those who are receiving awards. 

On June 10, 2026 during Block 4, seniors will head to the fieldhouse to receive their cap and gown and yearbooks will be distributed to those who pre-ordered one (pending shipping and receiving of the books). All obligations will be settled at this meeting, if not prior to. Caps and gowns will not be distributed to students with unresolved obligations. Obligations are listed in Genesis under Fees and Fines. Seniors can also return their Chromebooks during this time if they wish.

Graduation rehearsal for all seniors participating in the graduation ceremony is on June 17, 2026 after 12:00pm as it's an early dismissal day.

Hunterdon Central will be using E-tickets for Graduation 2026. Detailed information about E-tickets will be sent to parents and seniors when they go live, anticipated to be on or around June 8th. There is no charge for tickets. Registration code is student’s ID number. This is a general admission event; order of purchase does not affect seating. Each senior (or their parent/guardian) can register for up to 5 tickets. All 5 tickets are valid for the outdoor ceremony. Tickets are required for entry into the gated field area and both sets of bleachers. (You do not need a ticket to stand along the outside of the fence.) If we must hold graduation indoors, only 2 tickets will be valid. No additional tickets will be available. Please ask other senior families if you need additional tickets.

If you have a handicapped guest or someone with limited mobility, you can request special seating when ordering graduation tickets. Special seating will be provided on the turf and track around the stadium field. If a family member needs to accompany and sit with the individual requiring special seating, please order a “handicap” ticket for yourself. Only two tickets will be issued for special seating per graduate - these special seating tickets are within the maximum 5 tickets per senior.

Stewart Field will open to guests at 7:45 a.m. Tickets will be scanned upon entry to the stadium field so please have your code ready to be scanned upon arrival to campus. Check with your senior following rehearsal to find out which side of the field they will be sitting so you know in which bleachers to sit.

On-site parking for graduation is extremely limited. Graduates and their guests are encouraged to use off-site parking and shuttle bus service to and from Hunterdon Central.

Parking and shuttles are free of charge, and riders need only to show a graduation ticket or their cap/gown to ride. Off-site parking will be available at:

• Solventum Company (500 Route 202, Flemington). Use the Route 202 entrance and park in the lot to the left, as you enter the property. All guests who live on this end of town are encouraged to use the 3M location.
• Hunterdon County Justice Complex Juror Parking Lot (entrance is off Capner Street in Flemington)

Please be aware that these businesses are open on graduation day, so be sure to park in designated areas:

Shuttles will begin to depart the off-site parking lots at 7:30 AM and will run continuously until 8:45 AM for the 9:00 AM graduation ceremony.

In the case of a delayed ceremony at 1:00 PM, shuttles will begin to depart from the off-site parking lots at 11:30 AM and run continuously until 12:45 PM.

Return shuttles will operate after the ceremony from the drop off point (Transportation Building/Bus Parking Lot) to the off-site parking lots. Shuttles will begin to leave once the bus is full, after the completion of the ceremony, and will continue to operate until all riders are returned to the off-site lots.

Shuttles cannot transport babies/infants, car seats or strollers.

Please note: Due to pedestrian traffic, the campus inner-roadway will be closed on Graduation Day. Graduates are not permitted to park on campus; they should be dropped off or take the shuttle. Please plan accordingly.

Graduation will be live streamed on Hunterdon Central Television YouTube Channel. The archived video will remain on the channel following the end of the live stream for future viewing.

Every attempt will be made to have an outdoor ceremony. If the weather forecast calls for a light rain with no thunder/lightning in the morning, we will hold graduation outdoors at 9:00 AM. In this event, please dress appropriately and bring umbrellas, in order to be comfortable during the outdoor ceremony.

If there are more severe weather conditions with thunder/lightning in the morning, we will postpone the ceremony until 1:00 PM, in an attempt to have the ceremony outdoors. However, if severe weather conditions persist and an outdoor ceremony is impossible, the graduation ceremony will be held indoors at 1:00 PM with a limit of two guests. Two of the tickets for outdoors will be reassigned as indoor tickets - no action will be required of the family to convert to indoor tickets.

We will notify families by phone, email, posts on website and social media if the weather conditions cause us to implement any aspect of this inclement weather plan.

If the ceremony is held indoors, seniors will be in the auditorium and guests will be in the fieldhouse. Speeches will be held in the auditorium, after which seniors will process down to the fieldhouse and receive their diploma cover in front of guests. Live stream will be set up in the fieldhouse so guests can watch the speeches.

Normandy Studio will photograph each senior after they come off the stage to pose with their diploma held up and smiling. Candid photos will also be taken throughout the ceremony to view and purchase by that evening. To order photographs of your graduate, please click the link below:
