Class of 2029

Welcome to the Class of 2029! We look forward to welcoming you officially to Hunterdon Central in September 2025.

Dates to keep in mind:

  • January 16, 2025 - Open House and Electives Exploration Night, 6:30pm. Evening will start in the auditorium with a presentation specifically for 8th grade parents. Parents will then get to explore campus, speak with teachers and department supervisors about courses, and check out our elective offerings in the cafeterias.
  • February 8 to 13, 2025 - 8th graders will make their course selections in Genesis.
  • May 6, 2025 - Open House for 8th Graders and Parents, 5:00 to 7:00pm - this event is a true open house - come whenever you like during that timeframe and take a tour of campus, check out our athletics and activities' tables, hear a presentation from our counseling office, and speak to parents of current high schoolers.
  • August 25, 2025 - Freshman Parent Evening Program, 6:30pm in auditorium
  • August 26, 2025 - Freshman Orientation for Students, 8:30am to 12:30pm
  • September 2, 2025 - First Day of School

  • Program of Studies - Contains all courses and course descriptions for each subject area. Please review the Program of Studies before selecting courses each year.
    • Magnet Program - Hunterdon Central offers six academies through its Magnet Program. These are specialized programs for students interested in a pathway of experience in certain passion or career areas.
    • Dual Enrollment - Learn how students can earn college credit while taking certain Hunterdon Central courses. Over 50 courses qualify for college credit through joint agreements with local colleges.
  • Scheduling Parameters - Learn about graduation requirements, Option II, grade level promotion requirements, and athletic eligibility.
  • Step by Step Instructions to enter Course Requests in Genesis.
