SOUP COOK-OFF

The Rotary Clubs of Hunterdon County are promoting their 14th Annual Hunterdon County Soup Cook-Off to benefit all local food pantries on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Hunterdon Central Regional High School Commons, 29 Junction Road, Flemington, NJ, 08822. ShopRite of Hunterdon is proud to sponsor this event.

Pizza Wars Fundraiser

The class council is starting our first pizza war next week while partnering with Panatieri's in Flemington. This fundraiser will take place from February 23rd - March 10th. A portion of the sales will go to each of the represented class councils based on the pizza that is purchased.

The Board of Education meeting scheduled for Monday, December 18, 2023 has been changed to Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 6:30 PM in the Auditorium.

Spirit Week - Winter 2023

To make spirits bright, Student Council will be hosting  Winterfest from December 18-22.

HSA Meeting - December 6, 2023
Hunterdon Central's Home & School Association will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, December 6, at 6:30 PM in the IMC.
 
Assistant Superintendent Jessica Cangelosi-Hade will present information and answer questions about unique academic opportunities that are available to our students. All parents interested in exploring course options fare encouraged to attend the meeting.
 
SAT Review Class

Registration is now being accepted for Hunterdon Central's SAT Review Course that begins on Saturday, January 20, 2024. This course prepares students for the May 4, 2024 SAT Exam.  Details are posted here:

Inherit The Wind

Hunterdon Central is proud to present "Inherit the Wind", a thought-provoking drama that delves into a pivotal moment in American history—the Scopes Monkey Trial of 1925.    

Performances are November 17 at 7:00 PM and November 18 at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM in the Little Theater. Tickets are $8.00 and can be purchased in advance here.

All juniors and seniors are encouraged to participate in STAMP testing in January to determine eligibility for the NJ Seal of Biliteracy, awarded upon graduation. Students enrolled in junior and senior level world language classes will NOT need to sign up and will take the assessment during class time. Juniors and seniors not enrolled in world language classes, or those who wish to test in an additional language, are encouraged to sign up by completing the Google Form by Friday, November 3, 2023.

2023-2024 Educator of the Year

Hunterdon Central is participating in the Governor's Educator of the Year Recognition Program, which recognizes the work of outstanding staff members. Students, parents, and community members may nominate a staff member for recognition. Detailed information and a nomination form have been posted here.  The deadline for submission is November 16, 2023.
