IMC - Library

Materials may be checked out from the IMC for three weeks. There are no fees charged for overdue items.  However, after 30 days, a fee for the full replacement cost of the item will be assigned in Genesis and held as a "obligation." Students are responsible for the replacement cost of lost books.

Students must have an ID (permanent or temporary) to check out materials.

Students will report to study hall first for attendance. With a signed IMC study hall pass, 5 students for each 1/2 block (10 total per block) are welcome to visit the IMC provided that they will be working on assignments. Students must remain for the entire half block. Independent study students should sign in at the circulation desk.

The beginning of tutorial, students should sign in at the circulation desk if they need a bus pass from the IMC staff. Students are required to remain in the IMC for tutorial until 2:50pm. There will be a check-in time where students will need to present their ID.

Students who are in the IMC for teacher tutorial or a club meeting will receive bus passes from their teacher or advisor.

Food may be enjoyed in the Cafe only. There is no eating or open food permitted in the rest of the IMC. Students and staff may enjoy beverages with covered tops.

During lunch, students bringing open food must enter through the back door.

The Hunterdon Central Technology Department maintains The Central Hub, a walk-in helpdesk available to students and staff.  The Central Hub is located in the rear of the IMC and is open from 7:20am  to 2:50pm on school days. Students are encouraged to visit before school, during lunch, or after school. When necessary to reduce interruption to learning, a teacher may send a student to the Central Hub on a pass.

In order to ensure a pleasant & productive environment for study and research, the IMC has designated several Quiet Study Areas. These areas include the Fishbowl classroom and conference room behind the circulation desk as long as they have not been previously reserved.
