Food Services
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Child Nutrition waivers issued for the School Year 2021-2022 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic expired on June 30, 2022.
Meals free of charge will be available only to those students who qualify through Direct Certification, Categorical Eligibility, or Application Free and Reduced Price Meals.
Ala cart items do not qualify for the free program and require payment. Hunterdon Central uses a POS (point of sale) system in the cafeteria. Instead of using cash, you may deposit a check or cash into your child's "Food Service" debit account for ala carte items.
Alternatively, you may fund your child’s account using the online credit card/ACH payment system. This will help reduce time-consuming cash transactions and make our lunch lines move much faster for our students.
