Food Services
Hunterdon Central is a cashless cafeteria and uses a POS (point of sale) system to speed up the lunch lines. You can deposit money into your child's cafeteria account through cash or check sent to Food Services Director, or you can use PaySchools Central, an online credit card/ACH payment system.

Please note that if you have PaySchools at another district for a younger child, you must create a separate account in PaySchools using a different email address as we are separate districts.

NJ Summer EBT Program
In June 2024, New Jersey launched Summer EBT, a child nutrition program intended to reduce hunger and food insecurity for children during the summer when school is not in session. Those who are eligible will receive a $120.00 one-time summer benefit sent directly to your home.
Many families will get Summer EBT benefits automatically if they are getting other benefits, but some families may need to apply for the program. If your household already gets SNAP, TANF, Foster Care, or income eligible Medicaid benefits, your child is automatically eligible and will get the Summer EBT benefit. You do not need to fill out an application, but make sure your Hunterdon Central school district has your current address on file. You will receive a NJ Summer EBT card in the mail. Watch for the card in the mail in June.
