Hunterdon Central has created an electronic submission process for all Local Scholarship applications. We have also extended the submission due date to April 6, 2020, and removed the transcript and letters of recommendation requirements, in order to make it easier for students to submit applications during the school closure. ABOUT THE COLLEGE & CAREER CENTER:
The College & Career Center hosts college visits, discussion groups, presentations and is often used for small group workshops on the college admissions process, resume writing and performing a college search. Students can work with Naviance, a software program offering a wide range of college search tools, career assessments and admissions data based on Hunterdon Central alumni. The Center also contains a diverse selection of books and manuals for student use and check-out, including current college viewbooks and admission profiles.
College and career programs are held throughout the year to assist students and families with the planning process. Several evening programs have been developed for parents/guardians that present information specifically related to college admissions. Most of these programs are also taped, shown on HCTV and posted on the website.
The College & Career Center is located in Room 801 on the 11/12 campus. To schedule an appointment with the College & Career Counselor, please email Jennifer Nuechterlein at:firstname.lastname@example.org or call (908) 284-7146.
