Back to School Night Information

Hunterdon Central will hold a Back to School Night on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 for students A-L and Thursday, September 19, 2019 for students M-Z.

This year, you'll be able to customize your evening and develop your own schedule to meet your child's teachers. Teachers will be available all evening, holding information sessions for parents at set times. You will receive an email on Monday, September 9 with your child’s semester 1 classes, teachers and their Back to School Night times and locations. You can use this information to customize your evening’s schedule.

Because you'll be creating your own schedule, you can decide what time to arrive at Back to School Night, which teachers you'd like to meet, and when you'd like to meet them during the evening.

We're looking forward to this event as an opportunity to meet you, and an opportunity for you to meet your child’s teachers!

Teachers will be available in specific locations throughout the campus, holding information sessions that begin at set times. Below, you'll find a chart with the times for information sessions throughout the evening:

Schedule for Information Sessions:

As you can see from the schedule, you can plan when you'd like to arrive on campus, how many teachers you'd like to see, and how long your evening here will last.

Other Places & People to Visit:

On Back to School Night, Vice Principals and Counselors will be available in the IMC throughout the evening. You can also visit the College & Career Center (Room 801), Field House, and Special Services Offices. Staff will be available in those locations throughout the evening.

Staff will be parking off-site on Back to School Night, which will make all of our parking lots available for parents. However, parking for parents will be limited; if you are able to carpool, we would greatly appreciate your help. We also ask that you follow the direction of HC staff when arriving; they will direct you to available parking.

If you need to make special arrangements for assistance or need handicapped access, please contact Jean Lojek at (908) 284-7172.
