Safety Regulations Re: Masks & Student IDs
In compliance with New Jersey State and Hunterdon County Health Department regulations, students at Hunterdon Central must wear a mask at all times on campus.
The Hunterdon County Health Department has released guidance on acceptable and unacceptable face coverings. Please view an infographic here:
Unacceptable face coverings include bandanas and gaiters. Masks with valves are also unacceptable, as they expel unfiltered air.
Acceptable face coverings include disposable surgical masks, which are widely available, and cloth masks.
Students with unacceptable face coverings will need to change them before taking part in any in-person instruction. We have a limited supply of disposable masks for staff and students who have an unacceptable mask and need a replacement for the day.
Also, please note that students will be required to wear IDs this year to assist with identification. Lanyards will be provided on the first day of school.
