Hunterdon Central is striving to increase access to technology resources by maximizing the availability of computer devices for our students. We envision a “Student One-to-One” computing environment as a pathway to a more student-centered, 21st century education.
Chromebooks were distributed to freshmen in the Class of 2020 during the first two days of school in the 2016-2017 school year.
Chromebooks were distributed to the Classes of 2019 and 2021 during the first day of school in the 2017-2018 school year.
Chromebooks will be distributed to the Class of 2022 during the first day of school in the 2018-2019 school year.
An HCRHS Device Voucher form must be completed and signed by both parent/guardian and student before any student will be issued a District-owned device. At the same time, students will be given a Chromebook Information Sheet.

For families who may choose not to have a Chromebook issued to their student(s), the District continues to offer “Guest” wireless access that supports a “Bring Your Own Device” (BYOD) option. You can view complete information on BYOD BYOD Info: Parents.
