Please be advised that the Hunterdon Central Regional High School Board of Education has canceled the July 13, 2020 Board meeting. The July 20, 2020 meeting will be held virtually at 7:00 PM. Information on how to participate in that meeting will be posted on the District website.
While Hunterdon Central does not have summer assignments for any of its classes, the English department and the IMC promote independent reading as a way to develop the habits of lifelong reading, to discover passions, and to pursue personal inquiry and interests. We are extremely proud to announce that Hunterdon Central's World Language program has been designated a Model Program by the New Jersey Department of Education's World Languages Model Programs Initiative.
This award is given by the State of New Jersey after a competitive application process, a full-day site visit by the State, and interviews with administrators, teachers, parents and students in the program. Hunterdon Central congratulations the staff and students in our World Language Department and commends them for their excellent work!

News of widespread protests and riots across our nation would cause emotional distress and be hard to fathom in normal times. Right now, our students are hearing this news in the midst of pandemic practices that still feel abnormal and which may not provide a strong foundation of comforting routine for absorbing such news. Children no doubt have questions about the injustices that both fuel and arise from these protests.
